Turning challenging resources into valuable products

RockFuel is developing patented technologies to convert difficult resources, including non-recyclable waste plastics and abundant coal, into Carbon Neutral fuels and industrial chemicals. Our processes are designed to reduce environmental impact while targeting cost competitiveness with established supplies.

Following extensive research, development and independent testing, we are advancing our patented technologies towards commercial-scale deployment.

Our focus

Carbon-neutral fuels

Our technology portfolio is being developed to produce direct replacements for fossil fuel-derived aviation kerosene, diesel and synthetic gas, alongside saleable electricity. Technical performance has been demonstrated, and commercial assessments indicate the potential for competitive economics.

Industrial chemicals

Our processes can also produce carbon dioxide for food-grade and supercritical CO₂ applications, together with oxygen and hydrogen at scale, all Carbon Neutral.

Industrial decarbonisation

Alongside fuels and chemicals, RockFuel is developing new approaches to lime production and carbon capture.

Moving towards commercialisation

We are preparing for the next stage of scale-up and exploring partnerships and investment opportunities. Our aim is to help industry meet the continuing need for reliable, affordable fuels and chemicals, while reducing emissions and environmental impact.
